"Johanna was my lactation guardian angel. No one in my immediate family had breastfed, so advice from loved ones was slim. Having only met once, Johanna welcomed my questions and concerns with unyielding support, thought, reassurance and care. Johanna is a wonderful source offering insight, comfort, support and wisdom." |

"Johanna is a thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable caregiver. I worked with Johanna prenatally and after the births of my two children. Her depth of knowledge, continuous search for research, and overall calming demeanor helped me feel secure in my journey with breastfeeding. I have introduced Johanna to as many people as possible, as I believe her care is unparalleled. I continue to reach out to her for consultation as she is more than an educator, but a truly caring and kind giver." |

"Johanna provided calm and confident guidance as I learned to nurse both of my babies, two very different experiences. She has an evidence-based, yet easy-going, instinctive, and no-judgments approach, which I found very clarifying and reassuring at an overwhelming time. I wholeheartedly recommend her to all new mothers." |

"It's reassuring and useful to have someone like Johanna, who is steeped in the most recent research in the field of lactation and infant nutrition. What and how to feed a baby, in the public discourse, is charged with divergent and strong opinions. Johanna provides reassuring, informed, and most importantly thoughtful, advice to all related matters." |

"My breastfeeding journey was not so pleasant in the beginning. Actually, it was extremely painful and the pain didn't go away until my son was around 9 weeks old. When I first met Johanna at a support group, I was sincerely thinking of giving up breastfeeding because the pain was just so severe and I didn't think I could handle it any longer; I had already tried endless tips, classes and specialists. However, Johanna's passion to help breastfeeding mothers changed everything for me. She was very approachable, responsive, caring, and sincere. Since the first few weeks as a new mother can become very lonely and overwhelming, it was just so relieving and encouraging to know that there is someone out there who truly worried about my issues when all solutions seemed to be exhausted. Based on her suggestions, I tried many different things, and slowly I started to see the light though the dark and long tunnel. The improvement was gradual, but Johanna was very resourceful and patient the entire time. My son just turned 1 and he couldn't be happier and healthier. If it weren't for Johanna's commitment, support and encouragement through the toughest time, I would have given up, and I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the precious feeding of my baby boy. Thank you so much!!" |

"Johanna has truly been an angel in my life. After giving birth, I left the hospital stressed and terrified that I was unable to breastfeed my baby. We had Johanna come over the next day and she taught me so much about how my body and baby work so as to breastfeed. She showed me different techniques and figured out which worked best for my baby. She also gave me the confidence that I could continue getting my baby to latch after she left. Finally, she wrote notes listing the important takeaway points, emailed me descriptions, and even sent a report to my pediatrician’s office! I highly recommend Johanna!" |

"I worked with Johanna as a colleague at Venice Family Clinic. I was impressed by her caring, thorough and very knowledgeable approach to lactation. When a family member needed a second opinion, it was Johanna I recommended because I knew how well she evaluates and cares for her patients. My family member was so grateful to have worked with her." - Barbara “Basia” Szajda, MD, Pediatrician, IBCLC |

"You have given me the reassurance that we are doing the right thing and so I have also gained the confidence to work full-time along with full-time breastfeeding/pumping. This way I can hopefully keep [baby] enjoying the benefits of breastfeeding for a very long time to come. I am really proud of our adventure but this one has definitely gone so well thanks to you. Thank you so much for your support and advice, we are super happy with the results."
